The Little Pantry @ IOI Mall

I was privileged to be invited to Baby Tristan's 1st Birthday party. Yes, I am a sucker for all things baby and lovely :)
Last Saturday, 23rd July 2011, I brought my nephew, Nicholas with me to The Little Pantry @ IOI Mall, Puchong for the birthday luncheon. When one says, expect little, receive little, uh-uh, not in this case. We were pleasantly surprised by the Alice In Wonderland-like ambience, white painted cottage frames, vintage flower pots and fencing, huge pillars making us feel small like Alice, waitresses donning Alice's dress (or rather somewhat ) Just our blessed day, as the whole restaurant was decorated for 2 birthday parties - 1 is for Tristan, another for a little boy in the evening, so the whole place is hanging in a party air, literally!! I meant colourful balloons strung to the back of chairs :)
The food is good, loved the Chicken Soup, Spaghetti Bolognese and simple Chinese Fried rice. Sorry folks, too hungry to capture picture of the food line. Simple, yet tastefully done. For a humble amount of RM30++, The Little Pantry will cater a buffet line of mouth watering starters, main course, side dishes, orange juice and a three tier tray of dessert varieties. Very British indeed. Scones anyone?
Most important, everyone enjoyed the party very much. For me, it's seeing all my dear friends with their young ones (oh how time flies now), for the elder folks, I could see their faces shining with such joy being with family and children, finally, for the children themselves, it is the pure excitement of just being in a birthday party, bringing home balloons tied to their wrists, having an icing loaded birthday cake presented (need not have to eat, just seeing it is sufficient, the money spent is definitely worth it) Yeah, we were oooh-ing and aaah-ing when the cake was brought out.
In conclusion, I take my nephews word "It is the best and fun-nest birthday party ever! It is an unforgettable day. I wish I will go again next year"

Wish I had a cake like that when I was 1 year old :)

Awww....hero of the day. Baby Tristan.

All things baby and lovely, that's what you get in a baby birthday party. Look at that angel face.

We had a special dining room all to ourselves.

Presents, Presents, Presents.

Memories of the day.
