national museum 2011

this june school holiday, i purposely took 2 days leave, to have some quality time with my nephews, Nicholas and Aidan. afterall, the kids grow up faster than we realise, i didn't want to lose time growing up with them :) so, i had all these plans laid out for them, the Petrosains Centre, Kung Fu Panda 2, National Museum. A little mix of culture, science and modern time entertainment, ah, what a great combi, huh? well, i learn one thing, do not venture into KLCC area in the mid of day during school holiday especially when there is an ongoing exhibition at KL Convention Centre. traffic on the road, traffic in the mall, traffic at the ticket station and the list goes on. well, we missed the Petrosains, but we did have a great time watching 3D Kung Fu Panda2!! how cool is that for a 9 year old and 6 year old hey? did have some nice photos of the National Museum, relaxing and it's actually cool to bring the kids. they have since upgraded and added some interactive screens for kids, hologramme, audio playbacks of some scenes, so it isn't as boring as 20 years back, ok? cheap too, RM2 for adults, FOC for kids less than 12 years old. as long as the kids enjoy, money isn't such a big issue really, but when they still enjoy with little spent, how much more happy i am :)
nicholas loving all the trains, insist to take photos with each one
